Discover the best of Hanoi on an immersive half-day adventure! Start by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to pay your respects to the late Mr. Ho Chi Minh. Then, explore the city's stunning pagodas, including the ancient Tran Quoc Pagoda and the unique One Pillar Pagoda. Take in the beautiful natural scenery around Hoan Kiem Lake, and choose to visit either the historic Hoa Lo Prison relic or dive into culture at the Vietnam Ethnology Museum or the Vietnamese Women’s Museum. A perfect way to experience Hanoi’s top attractions in just half a day!

 

Itinerary

12:30: Our tour guide and bus will pick you up from your stay and take you to the restaurant.

12:45: Enjoy a delicious lunch at our restaurant, savoring authentic Vietnamese cuisine. If you prefer not to have lunch with the tour, our bus will pick you up from your hotel at 13:45 instead.

14:00-14:15: After lunch, we’ll visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. This is one of Northern Vietnam’s most popular and historic tourist spots.

15:15: Next, explore Hoa Lo Prison, built by the French between 1886 and 1901. Known as "A Hell on Earth," the prison is now a war museum offering a deep dive into Vietnam’s struggle for independence against France.

16:30: Our bus will take you back to your stay, wrapping up the tour.

 

Optional Add-ons (available for an extra fee):

  • Cyclo Ride (45 minutes): (USD 10/person) through the Hanoi Old Quarter after visiting Hoa Lo Prison.

  • Water Puppet Show (50 minutes): (USD 10/person), with recommended times at 16:10 or 17:20.

  • Cyclo Ride + Water Puppet Show: (USD 20/person), with the puppet show at 17:20 or 18:30.
