Itinerary

Day 1: Bai Dinh/Hoa Lu – Trang An – Mua Cave
(Meals included: Lunch, Dinner)

07:30 – 08:00: Our guide will meet you at your hotel/stay, and we'll begin a 110km scenic drive through the lush countryside. We'll take a short break along the way.

 

Option 1:
10:30: Arrive at the Bai Dinh Complex, the largest pagoda in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Nestled at the foot of Dinh Mountain, the pagoda offers breathtaking views of the river valley and limestone karsts. You’ll visit highlights like:

• 500 stone statues of La Han (Arhats)

• Two giant bronze bells, weighing 27 and 36 tons

• The impressive Quan Yin statue and the Gautama Buddha statue

 

Option 2:
10:30: Explore the Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel and visit the Dinh King Temple, which dates back to the 17th century.

12:00: Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local cuisine at our restaurant.

13:00: Depart for the Trang An Grottoes, where you'll explore stunning limestone mountains and linked valleys via a traditional sampan boat. Glide through caves like Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, and Thanh Truot Cave, and visit temples such as Cao Sơn Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, and Vu Lam Temple.

15:30: Visit Mua Cave and embark on a trek up Ngoa Long Mountain for a spectacular panoramic view of the rice valley and surrounding natural beauty.

17:00: Check in at your homestay or bungalow. You'll have free time to relax, swim, or unwind with a book. Dinner will be served at 19:00, followed by a relaxed evening at a poolside bar. (Note: The tour guide will not be available until the next afternoon.)

 

Day 2: Tam Coc Boating – Cycling – Hanoi
(Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch)

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the bungalow, followed by free time for swimming or exploring the area.
11:30: Check out and have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Your guide will take you on an exciting sampan boat trip along the Ngo Dong River in Tam Coc. This boat ride offers incredible views as you pass through caves like Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba, surrounded by stunning limestone karsts and rich fauna and flora.

16:00: Cycle through peaceful villages and scenic rice fields, enjoying the serene views of limestone ridges and local hamlets. A perfect way to end the day!

17:00: Board the bus for the return journey to Hanoi.

18:30: Arrive back at your hotel. Trip ends.
